Dear Parents & Friends,
Baruch Hashem our school year has gotten off to a terrific start. Our Talmidim and Talmidot are excelling in their Judaic and General Studies classes and, as you can see from this issue of our "HANC Happenings", are engaged in so many enriching and inspiring activities.
This year we welcomed many new staff members, all with years of expertise in their respective fields. We are also excited to welcome our incoming freshman class. We know that they will distinguish themselves as they form an integral part of our Tzibur. Additionally, we hope to continue our Study Skills Curriculum for all of our freshmen which will G-d willing enable them to reach their considerable potential during their high school careers and beyond.
We are in the midst of starting up our club hour at school on Wednesdays to allow our students to explore their interests and talents, as well as get to know other students with similar interests. We have also augmented our already impressive athletic program by creating a new JV boys Hockey team as well as a JV boys Baseball team. Next year we hope to add a JV girls Basketball team as well.
If you haven't done so already, please peruse our website at HANC.org to see all of the wonderful things going on in our Yeshiva.
We are so proud of the awards, honors, and commendations that our students have received. Perhaps what makes us most proud is the Metchlichkeit, integrity and values that our Bnei and Bnot Torah exhibit both in and out of school. Not a day goes by without someone commenting to me about how impressed they are with our students.
On behalf of Mrs. Bacon, Ms. Zucker and me, please accept our wishes for continued joy and Nachat from your children as we see them fulfill their - and your - aspirations for their future.
Sincerely,
Rabbi Moshe Stavsky
