Message from the Principal

Dear Parents,

From the minute I stepped into HANC 609, I knew I had found my new home.  The warmth, the kindness and the integrity coupled with a serious commitment to Torah and secular studies helped me understand why HANC enjoys a reputation as an institution of excellence.

As the new Principal of the Samuel & Elizabeth Bass Golding Elementary School, it is my sincere pleasure and honor to become a member of this illustrious institution.  HANC is a school that prides itself on creating strong teacher, student and parent relationships while instilling in children a love for observing Mitzvot and a desire to perform acts of Chesed.  I have witnessed this first hand.

It is my goal to continue this great tradition with the aspiration of achieving even more.

I am well aware of the many challenges that accompany my new role as Principal, yet I embrace this with the great anticipation of being able to make a difference in the lives of young men and women who will be the leaders of our Jewish communities.  In order to accomplish this daunting task, we must all strive for a high level of individualization and differentiation in every aspect of a child’s school experience.  This will require diligence and hard work along with an unwavering commitment to the development of fine character traits and a love for Eretz Yisrael in our students.

Parents are a vital part of the school community.  In an environment of partnered commitment, we can make a significant difference in the lives of our children.  You have placed great trust in HANC, and it is this loyalty that has served as the backbone of this great organization.

My job now is to work hard to maintain this trust and level of respect as your new leader.

As the school year progresses, I am looking forward to meeting each and every one of you.  I hope to develop a strong rapport which will assist in the growth of our children.  Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time (rabbisadigh@hanc.org; 516-485-7786).

With much Beracha and Hatzlacha!

Rabbi Yaakov Sadigh
